The Fall & Winter Lip Lineup

The seasons have changed, along with our wardrobes.  WIth that being said, we need to update our pout as well – gone are the bright pinks {well, for me at least}.  I tend to reach for richer colors, primarily in the red family.  Here is the current Not So Plain lipstick lineup:

Laura Mercier Lip Gloss – Bare Blush

The perfect light weight lip gloss to go over any shade. I like to apply this on the middle of my bottom lip over every color, for that glossy look!

Fresh Sugar – Honey

Very light weight and sheer. Ultra moisturizing! A winter lip staple.

Chanel – Rouge Allure – Rouge Angèlique

The perfect nude! Always paired with the gloss over it.

Lancome – Poème
Quite possibly my favorite color of this post. So versatile and just plain pretty.

MAC – Satin – Amorous

A beautiful, rich red!

Beautycounter – BC Red

A HEALTHY, clean, va va va voom bright red! perfect for those holiday parties or when you want to bring the WOW!

I know, I know, it can be a bit scary trying new and bolder colors.  To be honest, I’ve only been wearing bold lip colors for about 5 years.  Now, I almost can’t live without applying some type of lipstick!  It truly gives your face a bit of color {especially as we look more washed out in the winter months from lack of sun}.  Another little secret, I think it makes your teeth look whiter {and who doesn’t want that?}.  Try a color in some photos and see what you think!  It’s a fun and easy make-up product that really packs a punch!

Wearing the Lancomè Poème color.

As always, thank you so much for following and make it a great day!
