Not So Plain Fall Shoe Must Haves

The Current Shoe Rotation

What a rainy and dreary weekend we had here in Madison.  Looking ahead to the forecast, we may have a few more sandal wearing days {hey, if there is not snow, sandals are still a possibility in my book!}, but I think those days are coming to a close.  Time to move those booties and closed toe shoes to the front of the closet shelves.  Here are the shoes that are front and center on my shoe shelves:

Leopard Mule

These shoes are the one thing on the blog I’ve received the most questions about. Unfortunately, they are SOLD OUT!  I purchased them in July as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it looks like they are gone for good.  I have good news though, there are lots of similar styles!  These have been so fun to slip on and truly add a pop to any simple outfit. They are certainly a huge trend now.  Here are some similar styles I think you should check out.

Off White Bootie

I have seen many white booties while looking for shoes.  I just couldn’t do that stark white, but I knew I wanted something light.  Low and behold, I ran across these at Target.  I honestly wasn’t anticipating wearing them as much as I do.  I have been pairing these with skirts, and many everyday looks. For the price, a great addition to your shoe wardrobe.

Wedge Bootie

Out of everything I am sharing, these are my favorite! I have been planning outfits around wearing these shoes.  They are sporty and comfortable while looking fashionable.  The wedge adds that little bit of sass.  They look great with leggings, jeans, and skirts.  I just can’t say enough amazing things about these shoes.  They also come in tons of colors.  I was really debating between the light tan suede, but needed a black shoe and went with these.  I am so so happy I did.  I also really love the contrast of the white sole and black shoe.

Hunter Boot

I am sure most people reading this have a pair of these super functional rain boots.  I think mine are about 12 years old.  I would love a different color or maybe a glossy pair, but I am content with these for now. I wear them for anything from yard work, taking the kids to the park on wet days, or just simply wearing them on cool fall days – so functional and practical.

All of these styles are classic looks that will be around for a while.  Don’t be afraid to add that animal print to your feet or try that almost white bootie.  You’ll look great, I promise!

As always, THANK YOU so much for following and make it a great day!
