Phew! Monday after a week of vacation is no joke! It hasn’t happened in two years and you kind of forget that feeling. Here we are though!
I didn’t post too much while on vacation because we really kept it low-key. I put on makeup a total of two times and styled my hair once. I can’t explain the heat and humidity in August in the south, you just have to experience it. You’re basically wet the second you step outside so what’s the point of getting ready. It’s hair up and a little moisturizer and that’s the look. Anyway, it was very relaxing and felt good to just let it all go for a week. Now, back to reality…the thoughts of school, fall outfits, and a strict routine are brewing. Definitely mixed feelings about that.
- Starting a week feeling a little sluggish and feeling all those beach beverages and fries, I want to be in a lounge set. These pieces (sweater and crop pants) are simply amazing and it’s all because of the feel. The fabric is luxuriously soft sweater-like knit made to be stretchy yet keep it’s shape. It’s on sale, plus an additional 15% off. This would be a great set year round.
- This jumpsuit was by far the best seller last week! I wore this on the plane BOTH directions at it was so comfortable. It’s effortlessly stylish for travel. It does run generous. I went with my true size medium, but felt I could have sized down too. It will be really cute to transition into fall with a denim jacket over.
- If you don’t have a fanny pack (or belt bag) I highly recomend giving it a try! I used this the entire trip as I didn’t care if it got sandy, sweaty or wet! I knew I could wash it when I got home. For under $40 it’s the perfect little bag. I mostly wore it criss-corssed over my chest, but it is cute with certain outfits around your waist too. This would also make a great gift for any mom, teen or tween.
- On the plane I caught up with Love is Blind After the Alter. WOW! Is all I have to say. What was Damion thinking bringing that girl to the party? If you like pointless reality shows, Love is Blind is bingeworthy! ha!
