Monday Montage

Each week I start this post I can’t believe another week has gone by! We had a really nice weekend and did our first gathering this spring outdoors with friends. I had to bring a salad and it honestly felt so good to have to be somewhere at a certain time and bring something! It was really nice to laugh and watch basketball with friends. Anyone else have the NCAA tournament on the entire weekend? I love watching it and seeing the upsets. My bracket is very busted.

  • These jean shorts {you all were really into this weekend} are still 25% off! Sizes are getting limited, but white has more options. I have thicker thighs and these are wide enough in the legs to not be tight, they also are 4.6″ long, compared to many jean shorts that are 2.5″ long. Truly a really great fit. I don’t wear shorts that often, let alone jean shorts, but these I can do.
  • I hope you are here for the shoulder pad tank top this summer! They are EVERYWHERE! I recently ordered this tank in a leopard print {leopard is sold out but comes in a lot of solids and STRIPES}, and I love it! This top does run large, size down, I have a small and it fits fine. The shoulder pads on this particular top are a little exaggerated so be prepared for that. I love the stripe versions of this brand and the price is right too.
  • I really appreciate all of your comments and voting on the white jean try-on session video! It was fun to do and I hope it helped you if you are in the market for white cropped jeans. I know for sure I am going to keep this pair {pair #1 in the video}. They are really comfortable with the extra inches the curve love offers for my body type. A lot of you liked #3 in the video, they are the same exact jeans, not the curve love style, and are just a little tight through my booty, which I don’t love especially in white jeans. I am also holding onto pair #5 from the video, this pair is a wide leg. A little more dressy than the distressed and they are so comfortable and fit so well! Not sure I really need these for the price, but we’ll see as the season goes on if I find myself wanting to reach for them.
  • I love adding a fun trendy bag to any outfit. I think it can really make a look all come together. As far as handbag trends for spring and summer what you can expect to see:
    • Large chunky chains as straps or as details like this.
    • Small “phone only” crossbodies like this – our phones can pretty much do everything these days when we are out! What more do you need?
    • Puffy bags! It’s just not about the shoulder pads but purses are getting a little puff too. Love this shape as a clutch! I saw this trend coming in when I launched the collection with LMC boutique for the holidays, and this is a great version for $52.

As always thank you so much for reading and make it a great Monday!
