{Cue Oprah Voice} It’s one week until Christmas Eve!! How is all of your prep coming? I am feeling pretty okay with things. We leave this Friday for Minnesota to celebrate Christmas with John’s mom. My hope is to have everything ready at our house, so when we arrive home that Sunday, there is little left to do but enjoy the anticipation of Christmas coming.
I want to help alleviate any outfit questions you have for the upcoming festivities. I have shared all types of outfits from loungewear to dressy…hopefully to cover all of your holiday outfit needs.
Christmas Eve Outfits:
Our Christmas celebrations are a little bit of everything. Fancy, and casual. On Christmas Eve Lizzy participates in the Christmas pageant {an angel this year!} at church. We all get dressed up for that. I can’t resist dressing Lizzy up in a fancy dress and Thomas a little blazer. I will either wear my pleated midi skirt {mine is sold out} but I am LOVING this gold one on sale, or my gold sequin skirt (available in black), I’m also considering my faux leather skirt and lace top. I KNOW I’ll be wearing my black booties {50% off!!} and my faux fur black coat to complete the outfit {also 50% off!!}.

Christmas Morning Outfits
I know we’ll be up on Christmas morning early! There is so much excitement and anticipation {even from me as an adult!}! The joy and magic of Christmas through the eyes of a child is the most special gift as a parent. As we capture these moments by taking photos and videos, I want to look cute and festive. A cute pajama set is a must. I’m absolutely loving my buffalo check set from Target ($21), and this PJ Salvage set is so incredibly soft and comfy too.
Every Christmas I get the kids coordinating pajamas as well {I mean, how can you not?}. They think it’s so fun to match! This year I purchased little Chaser Brand sets from my favorite local Children’s boutique, Tradition Children’s Market. Christmas and llamas – amazing!

Christmas Day Outfits
On Christmas day, after opening gifts from Santa and from each other, we travel to my brother’s house in the Milwaukee area. The kids live to see their cousins and we are ALL most excited about being together. I go casual, and will probably wear my favorite leggings and sherpa or my new favorite {and comfortable} skinny jeans with a sweater {my current go-to}. Any of these outfits and pieces are contenders for Christmas Day:
