It’s here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now live for all Nordstrom credit card holders. If you don’t have a credit card, but see something you can’t live without, I believe you can apply online, get instantly approved and shop with your new card right away.
I was able to actually shop the sale in person in Chicago over the weekend. I spent 4 hours in the store {and my daughter was with me and such a trooper!}, combed through everything that was left, which was surprisingly a lot. I was pleasantly surprised at a few pieces I tried on, and somethings I saw in person that I ordered online will definitely be going back. Here’s what I found!
My Favorite Outfits From The Norstrom Sale
Loving all the plaid! This duster is lightweight and meant to take place of a cardigan sweater {fits true to size, wearing a M}. These jeans are amazing!! I’d actually have no problem paying full price for them either. Stretchy, soft and comfy. Jeans for true to size {wearing a 28}.
I tried on *almost* every cardigan! This cardigan was my absolute favorite. Super soft, stretchy, and I loved the slits on the sides. Size down in the cardigan {wearing a small}. This black crew neck tee is also amazing! Silky, lightweight, hugs body like a bodysuit, and has a little sheen to it – a great basic. {wearing a small}. Wearing last year’s sale version these mules.
I’ve wanted a cozy fleece like this for a while! This a great one for the price. REALLY warm, and so incredibly soft. I sized up for some extra length to wear with leggings {wearing large}. Last year I bought these leggings in the camo print, this year the basic faux leather are on a sale. Fit true to size {wearing a M}. A winter wardrobe staple.
Another very cozy option! This fleece top is like wearing a fleece blanket {wearing an 8}. These Top Shop Jamie jeans are a favorite of mine. I own three pair. I like this light black wash and the hem is really cool {runs small, wearing a 30}.
I really liked this animal print sweater! I didn’t bring it home because I had to draw the line somewhere {fits true to size}. Incredibly soft like a fleece, cute puff sleeves, and a great print. Paired with the Top Shop Jeans {size up in jeans, wearing a 30}.
These were also really amazing jeans! Frame brand, cropped with a kick flare. Stretchy, soft and a cute cutout at the hem. Fit like a glove – true to size {wearing a 28}. Black top, as mentioned above. **My little sidekick was such a trooper! The sales lady helping me brought her a cookie š

These are items I own from a previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sales, and also things I use that I love. This YSL Lip Balm is my new favorite thing, one tube is $38 all three for $78 – a steal! And…it’s not an NSale if you don’t stock up on underwear and bras! These bras are the best for every day!

I didn’t have too much luck with shoes. The shoes I wanted to try on were already sold out company wide. Not a huge deal!
I keep all this new fall gear in my closet and as other retailers start putting out their fall items, I evaluate and keep what I truly love. Remember, it’s not a good deal just because it’s on sale. It’s a good deal if you’re going to wear it frequently AND got a great price. I have learned over the years to not just buy things because they are ON SALE. Happy Shopping!
