I am so ready to start a new week in a new month! What a week last week was. Here in Wisconsin, we had record low temperatures and snow that closed school for four straight days. Top that with my husband being gone on a business trip, and let’s just say, this mom was going a little crazy. Honesty, it all worked out just fine. I really tried to look at the positives and soak up the days where we didn’t have to be anywhere {all activities were also canceled}. It was refreshing to be home and have no where to be. When was the last time that happened? We got creative around the house; we baked, made play-doh, did lots of art projects, and I was able to get some deep cleaning done. All-in-all, we were able to make the best of it.
The light at the end of the tunnel, for me, was spending last Saturday with my BFF. I was so looking forward to some adult conversation and having a glass of wine {and boy did it taste good!}.
