I wish I could snuggle in bed all today. Instead, it’s Thanksgiving prep time! Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Today, I am going to attempt the grocery shopping trip to get all the things for the week. I have my list organized but I know I will forget something and be running to the store at least one more time.
Great comfy clothes are pretty much the best thing ever! I love a matching pajama set, a cozy robe and I always use a blanket when I sit down to relax. These are the perfect items to gift anyone – especially that homebody. Even that person that has everything wouldn’t mind another cute PJ set!
On cold winter mornings, the first thing I do is throw on my plush robe to head downstairs to make my coffee. I’ve had my robe for over 10 years and it’s still in great condition! I even gifted John a matching one, and he likes his too! My sister recently shared {as she’s a new mom} her obsession for this Barefoot Dreams robe. The fact that it zippers makes it perfect for nursing and stays closed while going about the house. She said she never wants to take it off!
In the midwest, on these fridged mornings, slippers are a must! I am really picky about slippers. My recent pair from J.Crew is really soft and cozy and if you catch them on sale – a great value too. These Ugg slippers, are definitely more like a shoe and very substantial {yes, I’ve accidentally worn them out to the store before!}. Size up in the Uggs, with all the fluff they run small. Having a pair of slipper socks is great for traveling and the fact you can throw them in the wash is a bonus! A perfect budget-friendly gift idea.
As far as lounge and pajama sets, I am a fan of this brand. I recently purchased my set at The Nordstrom Rack for a great deal! They’re really soft and the sayings on the tops are so fun! My Madewell pajamas I have for summer are my absolute favorite. I wouldn’t mind this cute top and pants for a winter set {also come in plus size}. And J. Crew always has great sets like this for the holidays.
I love the perfect blanket and seem to never have too many. This year a fan favorite is the Barefoot Dreams blanket – it’s all the rage. I can attest that this blanket is dreamy and great quality as my son has one as his “blanket” and it is amazing. You can sometimes get them at a discount here. I love this blanket and its little pom-poms and it’s at a fabulous price point for a gift.
Mom, grandma, your bestie, or sister would love any one of these items wrapped up. It’s almost like giving a little hug.
