My Fave Fall Accessory – The Scarf
Happy Friday!! I hope you all survived the first week of school. It’s a tough week of transition for many families, but we’ll persevere and before we know it it will be ‘normal.’ I am so excited to feel the slight chill in the air the last couple of mornings. You know what that means? Time to add that scarf to any look! Oh yes, and time to order the beloved PSL at Starbucks, and maybe get out the fall decor. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. A major reason, the layering options when it comes to putting together an outfit. A scarf or wrap is such an easy way to do this and I’m sharing some on my current wish list.
I am a bit scarf obsessed. My family knows they can always get me a scarf for any gift giving occasion and I will be a happy lady. I pretty much throw one on with every outfit when there is a chill in the air. I love the way a scarf can take a simple look and elevate to chic and stylish. Think a plain t-shirt with jeans. Add a scarf and you look put together. Or leggings and tunic. Add a scarf and you don’t look sloppy, but put together.
My sister gifted me the adorable scarf I am wearing in the photo. I LOVE the little pom-poms on it and the fact it is light weight. I wear it year round and it always goes in my carry on when I travel. It’s perfect to throw over your shoulders or around your neck to combat chilly air {why are airplanes always so cold?} and also doubles as a cute swim suit cover up. I love the versatility of these little pieces of fabric.
This won’t be my last post about scarves. I hope you don’t mind. They are a fun and affordable way {for the most part unless your eyeing a Burberry, or Gucci, which are definetly on my super wish list, ahh, one day!} to bring an outfit to the next level. For now, I am sticking with some very wallet friendly options. I hope you like them! And if you don’t wear scarves, pick one up and give it a try! I think you’ll feel complete and put together with the addition.
Burnt orange a HOT color for fall! This scarf is a great way to add a pop of this trend color without committing too much to it.
You didn’t think you’d get a post without animal print did you? Another big trend for the fall, and a great way to add a pop of it!
Plaid. Does anything say Fall like a plaid scarf? One of my fave styles. Loving this navy too – definitely a popular color at the moment.
This scarf is similar fabric to the one I am wearing in the photo above. It’s light weight and can be worn year round. I love the tiny tassels and you can’t go wrong with this neutral color.
