$20 Summer Skirt – Yes Please!

First, I have to say, THANK YOU! Thank you for all of the love, support, “likes,” and shares of my social media accounts and website to kick start Not Your Plain Sarah Jane.  I know I surround myself with wonderful people and I really felt that when I launched this site.  You are all amazing!  I have such a full heart today and so much gratitude for you all!

Okay, let’s get down to business!  I was going to wait a few days to share my love for this skirt but I couldn’t because it’s on super sale!  I had to share it now so you could get your hands on it and wear it yet this summer!

I picked up this skirt at Evereve last spring as I was searching for some pieces for our family spring break trip.  I didn’t necessarily love this skirt on the hanger, but I needed some easy, comfy things to wear while bumming around with the kids so it made it to the fitting room with me.  Needless to say, I tried it on, it came home with me, was a hit on our tropical vacation and something I have constantly reached for this summer.  It’s the perfect skirt for a backyard bbq, grabbing a glass of wine with a friend, or even throwing over a suit to head to the pool – so many options.

I love the smocking at the waist of this skirt.  It gives the skirt a flattering waistline and smocking in general has become very popular.  It’s light weight, cool, and comfy.  A win-win all around.  I’d pair this with a simple dark color top (navy or black).  It would be really cute with a jean jacket and even booties as we transition in to fall.  This skirt comes in white and black.  I have linked everything from my photos below for you to shop {some items from my photos are not available any longer to purchase, but I substituted some other ideas}. Grab this cute, comfy skirt before it’s gone and get to wearing it before the temps change!

As always, thank you so much for following!  Make it a great day!
